The latest issue of the Programme\u2019s own magazine the \u201cJournal\u201d addresses the topic of sustainable economic activity. It takes a close look at how economic performance, the protection of vital natural resources and social responsibility can go hand in hand so that developments are viable in the long term. In addition, alumni of the Programme describe how sustainability is taking effect in their businesses and which innovative approaches they are following to this end.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that we must all think and act in a more sustainable way in order to prevent future crises has not just become known during the Corona pandemic. We want to equip our Programme participants and their companies to contribute to sustainability\u201d, says Anne Jach-Kemps, Head of the Manager Training Programme, explaining the choice of focal topics.<\/p>\n

The current issue also includes reports by participants and alumni on their experience with the virtual training and the numerous online visits to German companies. One article is dedicated to the international partner workshop held in November with the political partners and implementing partners. In the success stories from Ethiopia, Chile, India and Uzbekistan, alumni describe how they have succeeded in maintaining their position in the market despite the current crisis situation.<\/p>\n

The \u201eJournal\u201c<\/a> is a publication of the Manager Training Programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWi). It is published twice a year in German, English and Russian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
