This was of great help and support for me, and was exactly what I needed for my own company,\u201d Arslan Durdyyev says of his participation in the BMWi Manager Training Programme.<\/p>\n
When he decided to take part in the \u201cTraining for Partnership\u201d programme, he was already in the process of setting up his own company. Shortly after his return from Germany, he and fellow programme graduate, Atamurat Matgeldiyev, launched Turkman Print. Durdyyev, who was managing director of a printing company for many years, is responsible for production and the technical side of things, while Matgeldiyev is the commercial manager.<\/p>\n
They offer a wide range of print solutions from business cards to large-scale billboards. Entrepreneur Durdyyev has also entered new territory by adding outdoor advertising to his portfolio. \u201cI was impressed by the advertising in public spaces in Germany. Although I had no experience in that field, I really wanted to be able to offer the same service. The market here provides good business opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n
The young entrepreneurs received a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for their company, which now employs 35 people. For their printing they use international production systems, some of which are from Germany.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough the programme, we have enhanced our intercultural management skills, established contacts and learned the fundamentals of business development with German companies. Should we expand further and require new systems from Germany, the groundwork has already been laid,\u201d Matgeldiyev says.<\/p>\n
