Each year, around 20 Uzbek executives take part in this practical training. They come from firms which have foreign trade potential that wish to establish contacts in Germany. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). <br \/>\nUnder the motto &#8220;Fit for Partnership with Germany&#8221; the participants acquire management skills, gain insights into German business practices and establish contact with German enterprises, mainly medium-sized firms. The programme is aimed at managers and future managers, and at upper and middle management levels of Uzbek enterprises and is generally open to all industries.<\/p>\n<h2>A Bilateral Agreement Between the Two Countries<\/h2>\n<p>Since 2006, Uzbekistan has been a Manager Training Programme partner country. A corresponding government agreement exists between the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. So far, 453 entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan have participated in the programme.<\/p>\n<h2>Impressions from the Manager Training Programme with Uzbekistan<\/h2>\n<!-- default-view.php
