The German-Mexican Manager Training Programme prepares executives from Mexico specifically for business initiation and economic cooperation with German enterprises. Each year, around 70 Mexican executives take part in this practical training. They come from firms which have foreign trade potential that wish to establish contacts in Germany. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Under the motto “Fit for Partnership with Germany” the participants acquire management skills, gain insights into German business practices and establish contact with German enterprises, mainly medium-sized firms. The programme is aimed at managers and future managers, and at upper and middle management levels of Mexican enterprises and is generally open to all industries.<\/p>\n

A Bilateral Agreement Between the Two Countries<\/h2>\n

Since 2013, Mexico has been a Manager Training Programme partner country. A corresponding government agreement exists between the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Secretariat of Economy of Mexico. So far, 475 participants from Mexico have participated in the programme.<\/p>\n
