Germany and Iran have extended their partnership as part of the Manager Training Programme (MP) for another three years. On 24 January, both sides signed a Joint Declaration on the Programme extension until 2024. Hans-Udo Muzel, German Ambassador in Iran, and Ali Rasoolian, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and head of the MP\u2019s partner organisation ISIPO (Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization), signed the agreement in Teheran. In 2015, Amir Mamdouh founded the Sayyal Sazan Azaran Tadbir (Satco) consulting firm in the city of Tabriz to work with clients in the metal industry. The 32-year-old Satco managing director and engineer completed the MP in 2017. While in Germany, he established contact with a Berlin-based firm now involved in digitisation for a Satco customer.
