All activities with Belarus were suspended in March 2022 as it is supporting Russia\u2019s war of aggression against Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The German-Belarusian Manager Training Programme prepares executives from Belarus specifically for business initiation and economic cooperation with German enterprises. Each year, around 35 Belarusian executives take part in this practical training. They come from firms which have foreign trade potential that wish to establish contacts in Germany. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Under the motto “Fit for Partnership with Germany” the participants acquire management skills, gain insights into German business practices and establish contact with German enterprises, mainly medium-sized firms. The programme is aimed at managers and future managers, and at upper and middle management levels of Belarusian enterprises and is generally open to all industries.<\/p>\n

A Bilateral Agreement Between the Two Countries<\/h2>\n

Since 2006, Belarus has been a Manager Training Programme partner country. A corresponding government agreement exists between the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus. So far, 552 participants from Belarus have participated in the programme.<\/p>\n
