Germany and Vietnam are extending their partnership in the framework of the Manager Training Programme until 2021. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment, in Hanoi on 25 March 2019. Despite the current political and economic tensions in Iran, the Manager Training Programme (MP) opened up a path to success: Ramezani founded a company in Germany and is active in the market. The ambitious financial expert, Valeriy Mayboroda, attended the Manager Training Programme (MP) 16 years ago. At that time, he was 25 years old and working for the Ukrainian National Bank. He was just starting his professional career, but he had a clear mission: He wanted to study the work done by development banks and then use the knowledge to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine. At a two-day workshop in September 2017, to which the association’s management members including chairwoman Rania Oraby and other committed members of the EGAA – Egyptian Alumni Association of the MP – met with the German expert Karen Konopka from 2K-verbandsberatung, the focus was on central questions regarding association management. Cooperation exchanges within the framework of the MP always prove to be a particularly effective way of stimulating the transfer of knowledge and the establishment of business relations with German enterprises. They provide an opportunity for participants to meet a range of German firms and discuss potential business transactions face to face, as they would at a trade fair. TÜV Rheinland Akademie held a cooperation exchange at the end of June 2017 for the MP participants from Mexico. Continue reading
In November of 2017, the Russian MP participants visited the company RAICO Bautechnik GmbH as part of their manager training on the subject of “Energy Efficiency in the Construction and Renovation of Buildings”. The company based in the Bavarian town of Pfaffenhausen develops and sells high-quality glazing systems. Continue reading
In October 2016 MP participants from Vietnam, India and Mongolia attending a management training programme focussing on “Energy Efficiency in Industry” visited the Viessmann plant in Allendorf (Eder), to learn about innovative heating technologies from the management practices of the German pioneer in this field and to find out more about the latest technologies in the heating and cooling industry.
